Career boom op, based on the Essex/London/Hertfordshire border, with over 20 years' experience in HETV drama, comedy, and features. I fell in love with boom operating during my course at the NFTS, and that love affair continues to this day. I am a calm and confident presence on set, striving always to capture the actors’ full, authentic perfomances in collaboration with all other departments.
A lifelong interest in film and TV together with extensive musical training from a young age led me to a pursue a career in sound. In 2004 I was offered a place on the prestigious Sound Recording for Film & TV Postgraduate Diploma course at the National Film and Television School. I graduated in 2005, since when I have worked on such productions as Ashes to Ashes, This Country, Murder on the Orient Express, and Baby Reindeer. My most recent work includes Netflix's Bridgerton series 4, Mike Leigh's improvised feature film Hard Truths, audience favourite The Assembly, and as Key 1st AS on Apple TV's HETV series Silo.
