Congratulations to Ronan Hill and his team on the nomination for the award of "Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One Hour)" by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Recognising the contribution to the epic television series "Game of Thrones" , and in particular the episode "And Now His Watch Is Ended", this year's nomination for Ronan follows a 2012 win in the same category for the second season episode of "Game of Thrones", "Blackwater". The same episode also earned him his second CAS nomination for outstanding achievement in sound mixing and an IFTA nomination in 2013. His first CAS nomination was for Game of Thrones S1 "Baelor" also earning an IFTA nomination in 2012 . He won an IFTA for Best Sound in 2008 for “Kings”, again in 2009 for “Hunger” and received two nominations in 2010 for “Five Minutes of Heaven” and “The Eclipse”. Very well done, Ronan, and best of luck when the awards are announced!
